You need to maintain calcium and alkalinity levels as well. You could get a fellow reefer to scrape some coralline off his glass...and spread the 'shreds' around your tank. ;)

Something like the 'moss milkshake' you do in gardening.

At such tank parameters coralline algae should be growing like crazy. I suspect the accuracy of the test kits. Azoo brands are hardly ever heard of here in SG. The ones highly recommended are by Salifert and Tropic Marin.

Learn from me!? Nonono....I would'nt be able to accept such a statement. I'm still midway in getting my reefkeeping skills polished. People to look out for are.............the top scorers in the tank section  ...and the brothers in the sps forum

2x10000k and 2x20000k 150 mh dont sound like alot for a 1500lt tank. Your tank is 28inch deep. 7ft+ long. The 20000k is much dimmer than the 10000k. 600watt of lighting for a 400gallon tank is not enough. you have only around 1.5watt per gallon.

And like the rest of the bros has said. maintain ca, kh. Keep nitrate and phophates low. And mainly light. For me, I keep the antinic on for 14hrs and the MH for 8hrs. But its a new tank. Just passing through the diatom period. Have notice the coraline on the rocks are expanding. Hope they can outgrow the alage soon! ke ke.... :P
