Will clam damage glass?

Erm this may sound strange but I just want ask if anyone know if clam will 'eat' into our glass slowly after long period? Considering it can 'eat' into LR given enough time.

I have a clam placed on the bottom of my tank will LR but it has since moved directly onto tank's glass. Kinda worried

I think it will not damage the glass.

But maybe they will be stuck there unless someone has an idea how to remove them.

Don't think it will. Have 1 previously placed on sand bed but after awhile. It also stil itself onto the glass below the sand bed

Mine attached to the egg crate below the sand. Die .. dont know how take out next time

I think can use a very sharp razor knife or something like that to scrap its base off the glass..but b4 that, try to hold on its shell n slowly turn it left right left right see will it let go its base 1st la..try not to move them unnecessarily..dun think they can damage the glass too..
