Take DBA-150 as example

understand Power = 115V x 5.0A = 575 watts

so what is the difference of this 575 watts compare with the Cooling Amps, Watts and Compressor output watts????

For pump, compressor or fan type power calculation, you need to consider power factor. Due to the Voltage and current are not running in phase. Voltage x current would give you the |S| aka apparent power but not real power. The actual real power is Voltage x current x power factor (you might need to consider power factor correction). The power factor is the cosine of the phase shift.

Pls find the general formula below for reference:

apparent power |S|=|V|*|I|

Actual power P = |S|*(PF) note* power factor ranges from 0 to 1

good question...i want to know too lol

It does not matter. At the end of the day, the power is still the same.

For 115V, Amp is 5.0A

For 220V, Amp is usually half(2.5A to 3 A)

Question is what is the diff compare with other power in the spec

The spec posted by bro dnsfpl is Electrical input wattage.. Normally chiller manufacturer may used different convention Electrical input wattage and refrigeration capacity wattage or BTU/Hr. They are two different thing..

You can use the following to obtain both...

Can you share how long does your 1/4 chiller kick in for your 3 feeter? Thanks in advance!

cant really compare..As I am planing decom current tank and pending to redo tank. currently MH + lights and some pumps removed. left minimum lights. also add many link tank.. total volume can be as big as 5-6ft and my temperature set to 28.5C. The kick in like more than an hour almost didn't notice compare to previously with MH and many lights.. In short. depend power sources introduced to your setup.. Cheers
