SRC Member diki88 Posted September 3, 2013 SRC Member Share Posted September 3, 2013 My aquazonic t5 cover also used to give me the same problem. Cleaning the side with a cloth soaked in hot water made it move abit but what helped was spraying wd40. But tht is an aquazonic set so I dared to spray not sure if I would for an ati powermodule lol. dnsfpl
my mum suggested to apply some oil too i think that will be my last resort
Jameshong
IMHO, it is better to lubricate it by using Vaseline instead of oil leh.. ! Quote Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do. - Goethe
talev
There are probably some rough burrs along the side of the acrylic. Please don't hammer the acrylic - once it cracks you need a new one. You can take 1200 and 2000 grain sandpaper and polish the sides until they slide effortlessly into the chassis.
pandagold
Bro, Don't use oil or oil related products as it will haunt you later ( Electrocution ) and difficult to remove Try using hair dryer on the frame of your ATI, and it should expand , but don't get any heat on the acrylic plastic ( or it will melt or warp ) Or you can use some water on the edge of arcylic ( ATI ficxture must be standing upright and excess water will drip downwards ) . It should melt salt creep and it will eventually dry up ( remember clean with dry tissue paper and let it dry for at least a few hours before turning it back on . )
