Salterwater from Fish farms

How long can we keep the salt water in a pail before it is added to the fish tank. I usually buy my water from Pasir Ris in a plastic bag and throw away the excess. Was wondering if it could be kept in a pail for later top-up. If so, what conditions should I observe?

You can't use saltwater for evaporation top-up.

Well, as long as you keep the saltwater with enough air/water oxygen diffusion, it should be fine. Just make sure that there are no stuff it in that will rot.
