Pair clownfish fighting

hi,

recently my pair of clowns has started fighting. don't know what is happening. had this pair for 2 years already this is the first time they are fighting so badly. one of them the tail also a bit frayed.

question:

1) could this be the result of controlled feeding? feeding pellets on alternate days and mysis once a week.

If not , what could the reason be?

any suggestions?

Could be that reason but most probably they are fighting to determine who becomes female.

If they are paired for two years, then one should already be female.

suggest you feed small amount but twice a day rather than feeding pallets every alternate day. A hungry fish is an angry fish!!!! LOL.

I second that to insufficient food present. End of the day it's survivor of the fittest.
