Hi got some questions about QT.

How long do you all QT new comer in copper?

I am planning to get a blue tang and heard it is very prone to ich, so might want to QT it for a while. Will get a juv blue tang and QT in a IQ5.

Also do you all need fan? what is the ideal temperature

For temperature part, with less equipment running mean lesser heat..have a thermometer to measure the temp..the temp shd b in a ok range with the tank placed in a cool part of your house..

For copper part, I m not familiar too..any experienced Reefer can share?.. IMO if fish not sick, dun use medication as it will stress the fish more..

Still learning how to set up a QT better though..happy reefing
