ID Anemone

My fren gave me this small anemone, i can't find its name anywhere and my 2 ocell clowns won't host in it.

Can some one tell me wat is it? it has a flourescent green glow.

Could be green carpet anemone (Stichodactyla mertensii) but can't really be sure unless I get a closer look.

i try to get a better pic tmr.

it is about 3 inches big. now it has hidden behind my star polyps. and my camera isn't very good.

Looks like a bubble tip to me.

after searching reefcentral forums, i think it is a green bubble tip. they also are not associated with my ocell clowns but i read tt they might still host in it. any one try to put a fake clownfish near an anemone to attract it to host befoe?

hi,

you can try lps like hammer, or anthelia. My orange skunk is now 'hosting my anthelia, 1 of my sebae clown 'osting' my hammer & the other hosting a sebae anemone.

when i woke up this morning , it expanded untill pretty double its usual size. den i turned the lights on and it started to shrink and then a while later expanded to usual size. is this normal?

this afternoon i saw some white stuff come out and then it shrivell up. it did this yesterday too.

i hope its not some toxic.

definitely a bubble tip anemone.. as for false common clown.. i have yet to see any residing in an anemone..

My false is residing in my pink H malu though... but only after 2 weeks since introduction
