p.tm
You can try hyposalinity treatment.. if you have a QT tank. Because some fish and all corals are sensitive to copper

Sengreef
need advise on this as well. gonna give Microbelift Herbtana a try then. My tank heavily cover by white spot more than 4 months especially those ich magnet AT, powder blue/black/brown etc but all fish still doing well because lazy to catch all out for QT & let the main tank empty for 9 weeks some more my QT is not able to handle so many fishes so decide to give reef safe medication a try... tested on Polylab Medic & Pridibio Velvet & Spot before but no success ... tested on Microlift Herbtana after 10 days treatment the white spot have reduce to more than half so decide to continue 2nd treatment & after another 10 days white spot reduce to very very little only so go for 3rd treatment another 10 days & it cure but some sps rtn due to 30 days without running a skimmer ... me feel that all kind of reefsafe medication will able to work but need to treat it when u 1st found very little spot on fish body, if fishes long term fully covered by white spot is not easy to cure or take longer time ... SRC Member Shamsul Posted February 27, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted February 27, 2014 What is your setup? Is it FOWLR? Bro, Its better to do Hypo treatment for now and later setup a QT for the LS that you are going to buy hereafter. Do a Search in Google bro, you will get many posts about itch, but some uses these medics and some say itch is cured some says it comes back after some time... Currently i am also fighting itch, I am doing Hypo and now cant see any visible itch or flashing fishes, planned for 8 weeks and already 4 weeks gone, still 4 weeks to go. Just my 0.0002 cents. Just my 0.0002 cents. thought of doing hypo treatment tooo... my SG level initially was 1.025. den i slowly decrease it to 1.021 over a few days. when it hits 1.021, my hammer was closing up and wasnt "enjoying" the water. so i increased my SG level back to 1.025 and the hammer went back to normal. so i guess hypo treatment is a no no for me? SRC Member Shamsul Posted March 3, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted March 3, 2014 You cannot do hypo with Coral & Inverts, need to move them to a temporary tank and can do hypo in the display tank, also run the temporary tank with just your coral and some inverts don't add any new LS until you complete the hypo. Once hypo is completed move the corals & inverts back and use the temp tank as Q-Tank.

Martian
Anyone try searchem paraguard b4? I'm using Paraguard but u cannot dose into your DT consecutively for many days - tank will crash. I can't say it's good but at least it's useful to keep the LS alive longer...

Martian
Ok bro..tot its to dose into DT to fight off parasite ich etc.. thanks I cannot remember... I think the instruction says that you can dose to the DT but only for 5 days in a row. I used it consecutively for 20 days and I think it killed of my good bacteria too.... Now I let my tank stabilize for a few months and I'll try again but for 5 days in a row only...
