Hi reefers ,

So I've recently come across this product on madpetz

http://www.madpetz.com.sg//index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=&products_id=375

According to them , its activated granular carbon which is use as a pre filter for RO/DI units .(25dollars for 5litres)

And then there's

http://www.madpetz.com.sg//index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=&products_id=176

which costs 86 dollars for 4 litres.

Both are activated carbon am I right ? So why is there such a big price difference?

Is it because of the high phosphorus content in the first product?

i would say probably due to brand. im sure madpet'z AC should not have any phosphate leaking out. since it is being used as a RODI's pre-filter. i personally use rowacarbon as my AC choice.
