i'm using marc wiess's bacteria vital.. works for me.. withnin a week my sandbed grew alive with millions of anoboric bacterial.. nitrite level stayed 0 even with heavy stocking.. F.O.R.M is the only additive i used besides kent dkh and kent lugol.. IMO these are wonderful products.. :angel:

My only additive to my tank

1) Marc weiss FORM(I have been using it for three years and its not finish yet.)

2) kent Marine Super Buffer DKH

3) Warner MArine Lugol+ iodine.

4) REEF Vital DNA

And I'm keeping SPS for that long its growing and frag them once every 3 months

so is it useless or not .anyone. :evil:

Don't judge a thing just because other ppl says its useless.

Judge it when you have use it yourself.

Agree, I think this is also how companies continue to make money.... "you don't try you won't know right"... :)

When I was "siao on" with trying all these products, I guess my mindset was that if my tank is not showing any distress, the product is working....................... :)

imo the bacteria growth rate was slow until i started dosing bactia vital.. coralline growth rate accelerated to a unstoppable rate when i use reef vital in conjunction with kent tech CB and F.O.R.M.. just put your power head in my tank to make it pink in 1 week!! :evil::yeah:

Sure enough there will be alot of debate on this and that .

I have personal seen dust_to _debris tank and was shock that his tank fill with

stacks of coraline algae .

Enough of all this

i am the one who recommend the product to him.

And his tank was showing more postive outcome from it.

So he gain from him.

Why not those who are not convince PM him.

Go to his house to see.

See yourself is better than on the photo right or not.

By the way he has switch to Super buffer DKH for a few months now.

I didn't dose anything except for Kalk and my tank has serious coraline issues, especially at the back of the tank. :P that was during the first three months of the tank's start up....(=

Fair enough for you friend.

Is dosing in a form of a drip troublesome

Do you have to mix it with make up water

Is there a risk of precipitation .

Is there a risk of PH overshooting.

Do you have a problem with using vinegar or equivalent to clear away the calcium buildup on your dosing equipment.

I have been there and i don't like it.

this product is easy and you can get the same result with it without the above problem.

nope. (= I just placed a bit of kalk in a one litre bottle of cold water, shake it around, and just dump it in. did that all the way until I got my kalk reactor. hehz. no effect on pH, no over-precipitation as amount dumped was minute, no make up water, and no calcium deposits on equipment! (=
