Edmund Koh
I used to have 1 diy T5 lightset bought from a reefer here 9 years ago. The diy should start with the frame which forms the backbone of the structure. One popular choice would be the big plastic trunking that has a square cross section of 2"x2"x2". Aquamarin do sell those waterproof T5 connectors that u can use to fix on your T5 bulbs. Get 4 of those. 2 on each side of the trunking spaced apart so there is just nice space for a tight fit of your bulb. U can cut a rectangular hole in the side of the trunking to attach this connector. The last thing u need would be to get a suitable ballast. Most hardware shops should have (~$60). Place this ballast inside the trunking box and connect up all the wires. There u have a 2xT5 lightset
