If your changing all these things just means that your system is putting in more than your taking out...

Sorry what I mean is.. If your changing all your mediums and WC and cleaning sand. Something is leaking phosphate into your system faster than your taking it out. So.. One by one you need to change and test constantly to find out what exactly it is..

Also.. I hope your not feeding too much. .

Thanks fish cake. Believe my ticks are the issue. What is the solution. Take rocks out and wash? Now how do I do that esp when my rocks are coral encrusted?

Okay solution found.. Extreme high flow rate.. Two days no algae.. Have reduced speed now and livestock and coral look good.

Okay yongshun. Back for advise. If the rocks leaching PHOS is to arrive at an equilibrium. What is the solution? Stop water changes? I was off on vacations and the rocks were covered with algae. Scrapped and brushed it off, and voila everything was good. Changed water today and the algae is back!!!!!!!

Finally under control. Cleaned my reactor in under 15 days and voila removed a fist full of algae. (600 liter tank)!!!!!'m
