One that is user friendly and is easy to use and is able to upload pic into computer without complicated setups ..

i heard brand cannon is a good one

But when i went to sim lim square , there was like so many models out there ..

For rookie like me, Canon iXUS V3 at S$799 is the best bet. Handy and enough features for general use. Try Parisilk at 64521593. Got most of my stuff from them at prety good prices.

The nikon coolpix range are better at taking closeups but their video function no sound. At least my coolpix 2500 doesn't.

There is a coolpix 3500 selling for $699.

Hi Woonming,

I got a canon G3 recently, very satisfied. I make this purchase after around 1 month of reading up on the net.

1) can play video and picture on TV.

2) very clear and good picture.

3) I feel easy to use. (I am a total new bird in this field).

4) Long battery operation hours

5) video with sound.

cannon g3 can be purchase at around 1200 to 1210 including gst.

Hi thanks for the help yep i heard about G3 very cool cam to own

but i am using it just to take some pictures of generator and then transfer them into my computer and email to customers .. Maybe some pics of my tank ..

Thus my budget is about $500

How about nikon coolpix isit good or user friendly ?
