SRC Member CalciumReef Posted March 31, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted March 31, 2004 Nice!I'm having problems keeping glosso sticking to the sand bed despite providing strong light...8 x 36w
SRC Member ervine Posted March 31, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted March 31, 2004 3ft tank 4x36W... no ferts, no water changes, no CO2 supplements only soil based substrate and plants... but sadly been neglecting the tank due to other "salty" commitments... Was doing perfectly fine until BBA took over... exterminated it with chemicals (BAD BAD BAD MISTAKE) but that took out most of the plants as well.. lazy to replace the plants ever since, so now it's an almost mono-species plant tank... FuEl
My marine tank used to be planted. Anyway...to fight black brush algae you need to do regular water changes...inject more CO2...and dose Dennerle's gold7. Worked for me. Swear by gold7. Some pics to share...my tank lasted 2.5 years..before i tore it down as substrate fertilizer running low..changed the entire tank to my current marine. Kinda miss them..
