Pellets better?

Hi all,

was told bya LFS dat pellet food for our LS would be better as pellets have more nutrition, is dat true?? As compared to feeding frozen BS, are pellets better?

Also, heard somewhere last time dat pellets dun produce dat much phosphates, is that true?

I think a varied diet is better, feed pellts sometime, frozen cubes... but my personal opinion is our own home-made food with everything in it ala Henry's formula...

Heard about Henry's recipe.... but does it cloud the water?? Also, have anyone got good results with it??

Agree with alfa that a variety of food works best. My bigger fishes feed mostly on my pellets cos the smaller ones can hardly chew/swallow them. Been mixing it around with brine, mysid, cylopeeze and pellets, all garlic soaked... as for henry's formula, you can try getting a little from him to try, he does keep a little in his shop for sale, mainly to let customers try it out...but you gotta mix your own after that lar, which is the thing that puts me off...

variety is the way to go.

Henry's food dissolves in water due to the high nutrient content inside. not that I'm complaining. it actually kickedstarted my Moorish Idol to eat. now they eat anything, from nori to red bamboo to pellets, everything.
