Hi,

Yesterday finally got hold of a peacock mantis from a fellow reefer.

But not long after i reach home.... i almost got the shock of my life....

I got home, open the bag, pour it into a container...... went for my dinner......

come back see the mantis already flip over...... no life.....

I was thinking shit wat happened......then quickly use plier and pick it up from the container and put into my tank......no reaction

Look pretty dead..... but slowly... it began to flip abit......

1 hr later, slowly then it began to regain conscious...

Must say it is damn strong to be able to survive through this.......

Wa bro,

You gave me a heart attack, I thought my friend sold you a dead mantis! Dun wan to you kill me for it. ;)

Could it be the journey? Understand you stay quite far from where you pick up the Mantis.

Anyway, glad that it is OK. :D

Hehehe it is alive and kicking liao.....

Think it is most likely the prawn meat that was together in the bag.

Most likely the amonial spike after the journey and dinner caused the mantis to experience near death experience

Anyway thanks roidan, it has quite good coloration.

Now living in the cave and dig up quite a sand storm in front of it.
