I have bought a green bubble for two months. Recently it seems to give out brown slime and after that the each green bubble slowly die off and it spread to all. Please give advice. thanks

Is the brown slime coming from it's mouth? If it is, then it is quite normal as the coral releases excess zooxanthellae. This cam happens when the coral is adjusting to a new tank or lighting conditions. This is quite normal. Sometines the bubble takes time to adjust, since yours is already 2 months in your tank, it may be your water parameters which causes it to die slowly.

If it does so once in a while, then its normal, all my LPS does so once in a while... but if it does so frequently, it may be stressed due to some of the reasons mentioned here...

read an article on reefkeeping magz (last issue), it call brown jelly bacteria or something. it's killing the corals & it will spread. if u take out & small it, wow very smelly man. happened on my hammer, frogspawn & touch. best way is to hack off the infected branch & throw it away to prevent furtjer spreading. this is my own experience.

Thank all for your help. I think it is some kind of brown jelly bacteria. At night when light are off the brown jelly covered the bubble and the bubble become decrease in size as small as ant. After that it die and this keep on spreading to the good one. I have change the water and after getting the advise from UFO, I have throw away the affected part.
