Powder blue with me for about 3 weeks already no itch, no spots same for my yellow tang of 2 weeks, current purple a few dots of spots...hope to clear up by tomorrow - fed it with mysis + lotsa garlic (Kent) the quality of tangs from aqua marin is really not bad !

Dude,

Enough tangs and enough fish for the time being. Your DSB too small for much effect. Monitor your nitrate. Also, try not to put big pieces of rock on top of DSB. Most effective DSB not only must be thick, but also enough contact with water flowing on top of it. Either you get some sort of denitrator or you may want to consider making your main tank a DSB too. Mine is DBS in main and 3/4 of sump.

LPS and corals can wait another 2 months first. Can start with some mushie though but don't get any leathers or fingers if you intend to go into SPS later.

Dude, thanks for the advise will definitely let my refugium/biofiltration be more mature before adding anything else - if any will be smaller fishes.

I am trying out some silly method like i mentioned before so, it'll be somewhat different from the DSB hope it will work out

Thanx....am trying to make it as natural as possible...will be adding a few more pieces of live rocks and that'll be it.

It'll be back to the refugium again.....once the time is right the other portion of sand will be added including the bio sediments.

Then back to maturing again.....so ley chay.....

Hmmm....terry, you just gave me an idea....think will be trying this garden thingy you just mentioned.....see if its possible to create an minature hanging garden (cheap and good and not so demanding hehheeh).....
