Can anyone recommend any place which offers well priced LCD or PLasma TV's? I know we've talked about it before but sort of lost track towards the end of the thread. IF anyone can help, that'll be great. Thanks a bunch.

6ft x 2ft x 3ft

Suggestions so far.

1. Remove coral chips and ceramic rings and replace with live rocks. removed...looking for live rocks now

2. get rid of most of the filter cloth

3. First Buy!!! Skimz FR with Sorb4 and eheim pump

4. Re-doing the sump.....I~aquatic doing up the plans.

5. Lighting MH+T5 or T5 only? how many?

6. Chiller?

7. Wave maker

8. check valve on the return line to prevent sump overflow (great idea)

9. Refugium? Anything to replace it? a FR of some sort maybe?

You may want to try tansit road (formally SBMT), there are two shops selling electrronic goods at quite a very good price.

The first shop is 'Paris Silk' and the other is Lucky Store... ;)

Just a tip...you can actually get discounts from buying plasma tv from a reputed 'Best *****' japanese shop that has branches all over Singapore.

I got at least $300 off back then. There's no catch. :P

Great......will have a look at best Denki, Courts and People's Audio. Always been under the inpression that customers get a reasonble price at big shops like denki and courts but not always the best price........compared to sim lim and other typical electronic places.

Guess i got to do more research......thanks guys

try mega discount store... you can normally see their ads on Saturday paper. they are at united sq & katong mall... the boss over there is damn aggressive, those kind of guy that cannot lose out to other competitor. definitely cheaper than the b*** d**** jap store - for example for the 42" plasma, certain models is around $500 to $1K cheaper than b*** d****. But b*** d**** used to offer 2% discount for UOB card holder, not sure if the promotion is still on. as for audio h****, my opinion is that except for some promotional items, the rest of the stuffs is about std price available elsewhere. Also, if you want to buy from reputed store, the last I know, har*** nor*** actually promised to match any other ppl prices.

However, if you really want the best price & not worry about whether it is a reputed store or not, head down to your neighbourhood store, you can bargain till the price is better than anybody else due to their low overhead. I heard one of the shop over at Alexander Village is not bad, but you must know how to bargain lah.

Another tip - make sure you ask for price WITH GST right at the beginning, some store will give you a damn good price, but when you pay then they tell you need to add another 5%.

just my 2 'bits'... :)
