Mine doesn't.

I have closed brain, torch, frogspawn, plata and hammer.

I guess, it is a matter of individual fish. Some does it and some just doesn't. I am glad my doesn't.

do u all think regular feeding will reduce the chances of flame angels nibbling on corals ?

Yes bro, if your fishes are not hungry, chances they might not touch the corals, but I had an Emperor Juv who loves corals, have since removed it from my main tank.... :)

People do not plan to fail; Often they just fail to plan...

Wat I do to prevent myself from tearing my hair out... My stress remedy...

my juv emperor angel also like to nip on my tubeworms...

at first okay but later start to bite more and more.

so I catch and place in prison (aka beta box) and try to start to feed only pellets and hopefully make it understand only pellets are food

anyone got better idea pls let me know

Yesterday, while I was scrubbing my tank, I accidently hit my hammer hard and causes several polyps to break and began floating around in the tank. :(

Suddenly, my Hippo Tang, Flame, Purple Fire and Maroon charges toward the floating polyps and began feeding. In a split seconds all of them spat out what they have just consumme and began "coughing". ;)

So does it mean that Coral Polyps taste "BAD".

btw how about potteri angel ? does any reefer here has ones that nibs on coral ?

I have a potteri and a golden... both quite ok.. there is always that occasional nib but not enough to stress out the coral... The potteri feeds off the tank glass walls and the LRs for algae and pods... an excellent fish as it keeps itself, ... a bit on the fierce side when it comes to its space.

Yesterday, I had to take out an Eibli dwarf... now if you ever see how and what this fish nibs on, you'll know what trouble is. A small word of advise, as pretty as it is, KEEP AWAY from the Eibli, me thinks its strictly for FOWLR keepers.
