After dosing of zeovit system~~

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Do you have the pics and water parameters before you use the ZEOVIT system?

And did you use the full range of ZEOSYSTEM products (i.e filter + additives) or just additives?

For discussion purposes, IMO, i think it will be good to have pics and water parameters BEFORE, AND the progress/ changes AFTER using the ZEOVIT sytem

over a period of time, while keeping other influencing factors constant.

This is to ascertain whether the improvements are due to use of the ZEOVIT system.

This is an objective platform for discussions and I am neutral, with regards to

ZEOVIT sytem.

Hmmmmm....... andy, do u hv any lps or softies? coz i wanna find out if the zeovit (from my humble 2 cents, i think it works by starving the water paras of nutrients) will affect those other non-sps corals.

This is what I read from the zeovit website.

The bacterial will convert the nutrients into biomass and this is skimmed out by the skimmer which is observed as more darker and higher volume of skimmate from the skimmers. The biomass are also consumed by the corals, this doesn't refer to the SPS but LPS and softies as well.

I'm into the first week of dosing the zeobak, zeofood and zeostart. The water is observed to be crystal clear, never had the water been so clear before. One of my fiji purple acro which has brown out previously has been observed to be coloring up. But I need more time to tell. All other parameters and stuffs like feeding etc remains the same.

skimmer output is a lot more compared to before dosing the zeovit.

I am still on 50% of the recommended dosage so the full strength can only be observed after I go for 100% of recommended dosage.

Will post more when i noticed any changes :P

i do not have any previous picture before this one which i posted it here, however i will keep on monitor from time to time and take more pictures so that can make

a compare :o

my tank only house Sps no LPS~~ as for water parameter~~ still the same~~ however after dosing zeovit one, have to cut down on the dosing

of trace elements if i am not wrong...

I think for this product there are more information to dig

and learnt from those reefers in reef central who also trying

out this zeovit

we still have to take care of our sps water parameters~~ even we have this zeovit stuff~~

just my point of view

;)

1st changes is the water become more clear

after one or two days of adding the zeovit

I thinkhaving a very clear water also help more light to pentrate into

the water level which in thus help the sps also

Last two days can see the polyps extending more then ever :P

thought after my 3 weeks reservist come back all my sps will be gone case

brown like crazy~~

but now showing a bit of improvement .. ;)

cool...I am reading up on this system as well.....

would you be creating a system that is too delicate for any mistakes...like over dosing or under dosing....?
