Questions on elephant ear

I have had my elephant ear (about 3 palm size) for half a year now. Initially when I bought it , it will feed on the bits size shrimp that I placed on its surface.

However, after 2 months, it stop feeding the shrimp and the fishes usually snatch it away as it does not close at all.

What other things can be fed to elephant ear? Is my elephant behaving normal?

I had done a search before I post this thread, funny, maybe I have missed it. Anyway, been some time since I come into the forum and I did not realise that there is a soft coral section!
