mushroom melting?

is these what we called melting?

One of my mushroom start to melt away.

Please advise if im right ot wrong.

and what should i do?

seems like ur mushroom is dying or already dead

hmm might wanna check ur water parameters

another reason might be it is placed in a high flow area

first the pic is too big

maybe you can try to siphon out the melting mushroom. the fresh that it is melting can siphon out first as it might pollute your tank water. for the rest of the remainding unmelted part might have a chance to recover if you find out whats wrong

is your tank height is around 1.5ft ??

and does the melting starts when you change it to your newly brought lights ??

it might because of the mushroom does nt adopt to the new light and start to mel t

ya.just bought the lights....and think cannot get usedf to it......sorry abt the big pics....!!
