bought it last week with almost no polyps sticking out... saw long polyps waving today.. is this normal... see pic..

1st pic taken at nite with artinic... ard the time i bought it with little polypssticking out...

Hi Razo,

It is a goniopora also known as flowerpot coral. Look very nice under actinic. It's normal for the polpys to extend that long, mine does extend long ~3".

Read before and experienced that Clownfish will often play in its polyps if no anemone can be found in the reef aquarium.
