1 last question...sorry for so much questions....if i wan to diy it myself right.. how many bulb will i need and what other equipment to buy.. i mean what kind of wire .. and do i need a ballast all those?? And how much will it cost?? planning to go sim lim tower this sat to buy the things.. hehe.. thanks bros

Moonlight is important for corals. In nature, corals will spawn with the lunar phase.

By simulating actual lunar phase, reefers hope to coax the corals into hanky panky.

But then there are also some reefers just wanted some illumination in the tank at night.

Do not waste time to DIY, just purchase direct a strip of 6-8 LEDs plug and play from Sim Lim Tower top floor. I think less than $20.

yah can buy one whole strip + the adapter.. i think can get at 20+ bah...

But the strip that i saw got too many LEDs... i think just a few is enough..

As for why have a moonlight? Well sometimes after the lights go off you still wanna peek at your tank inhabitants secretly... hehee...
