Hi I'm using a Daeil DB-110 ($900+). Not bad, quiet and fast in cooling down and trust me easy to do self-maintain and some simple repair cuz of one EXPERIENCE ;)

didn't secure the hose tight, leaked into the on/off switch compartment, got buring smell and arching. Thank God I was at home if not... now maybe still leaving off the street manz! Did the repair myself as I'm a electrical ###### DIY guy. Now as good as new. Did some cleaning on the inside too when I took out the casing. Saw what was inside... was impressed by the way they layout and made the chiller, very neat and repair friendly.

Well...getting an external chiller is much more better than an internal chiller

No need to face the HEAT...

If i am not wrong, u have to place the chiller in the open area (beside your aircon compressor) and also do the necessary pipings..

but this may mean that u have to engage a power presure-rated pump to do the job

I am just an average FR (fish reefing) writer. If you like my FRs, please upz my points.

Opps. i forgot to add that My daeil Chiller have an ADDITIONAL feature that was installed FOC.

It has an additional Electric cable...(not an electrical engineering student so forgive my terms used)

Once the chiller start to run..i mean the fan start to move and generate heat, my external fan (Pansonic) will also run thus drawing the hot air out of the window.

One the external fan connection: This is relatively easy to do if you know some electrical wiring.

If anyone keen to have this done, I believe I can share my $0.02. But.... I don't warranty for it...
