Dr Eunice Chua is the one at Thomson medical centre? Pretty good,my sis went to her too.

The feature is so clear.Thats a 2D not a 3D right?I have never had a ultra scan so clear on the baby's feature...thought only 3D is so clear.

Yup its 2D, this the clearest of the lot.

Yup, Eunice Chua is fantastic! :D

She knew that we are determined to have natural birth and went beyond her call of duty to ensure that our wish will be fulfilled. ;)

I see that was close.

Mine is 4.3 Kg. Birth 2.8Kg he was 3 weeks early.

Your son look big at the 1 month photo. :D

OMG! How both of you manage???!!??!

We tried that for a couple of days when the confinement lady left, OMG!!! It was crazy!

In the end, have to go for a maid.

But is your wife working too?

The first 1 week after the confinement lady left, she almost breakdown :pinch: so do I.

My wife has stopped working since December.

She has a miscarriage before so I really want her to rest during the 2nd pregnancy.

I did suggest for a maid but we do not like to have strangers under one roof.

We are coping quite alright now.

Now I have to buy less things as I have to support

1. Wife

2. Son

3. Reef

4. Dog

cute is one thing but as they grow up,thats another type of joy...cutting cost on diapers...milk formula....as they learn to speak,learn to walk...as they strive in school...every bit is a fair share of joy,of course sometimes headache too.

When is your turn,Rav 65? :D:D

your son looks like those eat and sleep easy baby.He is in good size too.Must be breastfeeding hor?

old people say you can see the character of the babies by the way they sleep.Babies who sleep with a peaceful face is easy going but those who sleeps with half eyes open or with a twisted eyebrow is a fussy one.

Read from book saying the baby follows the sleeping routine of the mother when they were still in their tummy so mother to be must have a early night.I have a feeling that mine would be a night owl cos I always have sleepless night... :(

So,does anyone actually went to fortune teller to get chinese name for their babies?Any good recommend?

I heard at you long zi always give similar names.My husband's co worker's daughter is having the same name as another co worker's daughter just different stroke.

I went to a fortune teller in Bedok south.$50 but my friends all say he is conservative in selection.So this time round,I thought to give it a change.Always read on chinese newspaper that there is one in Jurong...

By the way, now im planning for my first child. Just want to know roughly, how much must i set aside? Think must mentally prepared on sleepless night .... ^_^ And what other precautions that my wife must take while she pregant? :lol:

precaution vary from people to people...and if you listen to old wives tales,never ending story.But my experience says,never eat for 2 as its going to make the baby so big and 1st time mother would have difficult time during labour and for slimming down after birth.Just eat healthy.

sleepless night not always a definitely senario.My daughter would cry from 8pm to 4am every night without fail but my son sleeps through the whole night (until I keep calling doc to ask if my son is a mute :D ).Old people always say girls are more difficult but I dont really believe,will let you know in Oct if boys are really better sleeper :rolleyes:

As for how much to set aside.Different gynae has different charges,different hospital has different charges too...but what all of us know is,its never cheap to have a baby.
