LR Scaping

Starting a 3 x 3 x 2.5 tank... and need ideas for LR scaping... can any kind soul help.

Frankly, have no idea. Saw some of the bro's tank so nice. got confuse . Went around looking at LR and the price varies so much from $7 to $16. Is there any reason.

IMO:

Make many holes with various, got big, medium and small. So diiferent size pets can find their fav spots in.

And make these area kind of shading, I find that many pets like staying under the shade.

And try make these holes zig-zag, not straight line like 1 tunnel.

So pets evading bully can play hide and seek.

Use big (can use dead rock) for base, good for shading too.

If you go with DSB, try put some base rocks at least at mid level of the sand depth. With time shirt, sand level may shift due to sifting from pets. And your rock can go "dancing", dangerous.

I always like 2 island concept, and slowly joint the 2 island. LR I bought mine at Lim Chu Kang, but most LFS sells them.

ranging from $6-$9....those LRs come from batam...

from $16 onwards..those LRs are from figi...figi rocks are much more nicer and bigger....some with very nice coralines on it...

ps: buy cured rocks to save ur hassle..

for scaping..it all depends on ur own...as bro blueheaven had mention on some thread earlier...LR scaping depends on ur own creativity...

Buy cured ones better save all the hassel in my opinion.

Thanks for all the advise. My tank coming tomorrow. so excited. Will run it with sand till saturday. And will go buy LR on sat to do scaping and start my cycling. Any recommendation on how to jump start the cycling?
