Hi all. Which method of running the water through the chiller is reccomended? which results in less kick in timing? :thanks:

Method 1: Main Tank ---> Chiller ---> Main Tank

Method 2: Sump Tank ---> Chiller ---> sump tank

Method 3: Main Tank ---> Chiller ---> Sump Tank

Method 4 : Sump Tank ---> Chiller ---> Main Tank

:thanks: once again :)

I'm using Method 2. The chiller pump and return from the chiller is at the last compartment of the sump. This compartment is also where the return pump for the main tank is located.

Yeah, I think most people use method 4.

Hmm.. Think I'd better change my chiller pump to the last compartment of my sump. In my last compartment of sump, there's already the return pump & skimmer.

I think the pump not that important where it is placed..It's from the chiller that you have to direct the flow to the last compartment.
