Bacteria?

Hi senior reefer out there, i have a tank and started less than a year ago, :lol: need some advice on how frequent i should put in the bacteria into my marine tank for nitrogen cycle? My bacteria is in powder form. Brand is Aquariuma Super bacteria. Where is the most appropriate place to put it in? At filter or directly into the tank?

After putting the bacteria should i on the skimmer or do i need to wait a while then on? Thanks in advance.

Those bacteria dun comes with instruction???

Once it is cycled, you dun have to add anymore actually. However you may like to add a smaller portion 1/4 of the recommended dose monthly, otherwise the whole bottle will just be wasted.

End of the day, if it is really bacteria, if you add more, it will not kill the fishes. If not enuf waste, the bacteria will just balance itself (die off).

Reef:

1 x 2" Blue maxima, Red/Brown/Purple Mushroom (Discosoma), Pink Ricordea yuma, A little colony Brown/Green common Zoanthus, Red/Pink/Green US Zoanthus, Eagle-eye Zoathus, 14 Branch Goniopora Pandoraensis, 1 Starburst Polyps, 3 + 2 Branch Frogspawn, 4 Blasto, palythoa, Cheato

RIPs (Since June 2005):

1. Sabae clown (KO by Clarke clown) 2. 1 branch melted frogspawn 4 branch 3. Golden maxima (Ripe the base off rock by me) 4. Algae Bleenie x 2 (Starvation) 5. Blue Maxima x 1, 2 x Maxima, 1 x frogspawn, rics (Overtemp...)
