I think MH is a little too much for a xenia

Xenias are mostly a hit or miss

If you have the conditions that suit it, it grows and spreads like a weed but if you do not have the conditions it requires, it will just simply waste away

Try not to let temperatures rise above 28 degrees. Happened once during a warm spell and I lost all my propagated xenias.

Another tip is to maintain your kH level.

Lights above 10,000 Kelvins work well. Anything lower than that and your xenia will most probably turn brown (if it was originally white, etc).

Maybe my C1000 can solve this problem.

kH level between 8-10 should be fine.

im using 55W PL on my xenia...so far so good...crossing my fingers~

I tried Xenia with my old tank using 150W MH with no success..

open and pulsing nicely.. and all of sudden just disappear.

After upgrading to a bigger tank with 400W, the old xenia flourish out of no where again
