I agree with you 100 percent. Diving in Manado is the best! The marine life around N. Sulawesi is apparently the richest in the world. Hope and pray that it stays that way for many many generations to enjoy.

My last dive trip was at Bunaken just over a year ago. We had a fabulous time.

After seeing your pics... very very itchy! :D

Well, now is the best time for you to get those dives in... before you start a family that is! ;) Planning yet? :lol:

I just came back yesterday from Manado.

Great dive destination... stayed at the Kima Bajo Spa resort and dived with Odyssea Divers.

Dived at both Bunaken and Lembeh... the reputation of it as THE place for muck diving is undisputed... I have never seen so many firsts in one dive holiday before... even better than Sipadan! :)

I got a new Canon A620, Inon 2000 strobe/ultralight rig, Inon macro lens and here's what I shot...

Here's some clownfishes...

hi, what is yr camera u using?

recently, my bro went for his first trip underwater snapshot.

the result is all blue and a bit blur...

need any filter for aim and shoot camera?

I'm using a Canon A620.

If its a digital camera, you can adjust the white balance so everything doesn't turn out blue/green.

If not, a red filter can be added to the lens for film point and shoot cameras for deeper dives.
