Fragging Star polyps??

Hi!

My star polyps has grown and now part of the bluish "body" is on the sandbed. it is not attached to the sand or the rock.

I am thinking of cutting it and attaching to a rock but will it eventually stick onto it?

or do i need to get help from Mr Super Glue?

Anyway does it need to be attached onto rock to survive?

Does'nt need to be attached to rock to survive. To frag it just cut/break it and place it on or next to the target rock. In time it will just grow onto it.
