Who is using power compact bulbs?

I'm currently using Philips Ecotone Genie (Cool daylight) tubes. Is anyone else using them? ANother option is Osram tubes, but they don't seem to have cool daylight, just regular daylight.

I using 22W Phillips Cool Day light. It equates to 6100K I guess. It is good for coral growth but not nice too see all the colors of the coral. I use it for my sump.

Think if you use another blue tube, the tank will not look yellowish but white.

Unfortunately I haven't seen any actinic tubes less than 20w in Singpapore. Has anyone?

i used to use the philips tornado... veri bright...

actinic ones dun hav but hav seen blue ones b4

Are tornadoes supposed to be very bright? I never understood why they're shaped like that.
