SRC Member Qxnviolet Posted May 9, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted May 9, 2006 My yellow tang refused to feed for the 1st week when i first got it. Nearly lost it but now its the most agressive fish in my tang, developing a fat fat tummy. What i do for newly acquired tangs is to buy a bunch of red grape algae/red bamboo algae to entice them to feed. In my experience they prefer the grape kind. You might want to try Henry's food as well. LBS are worth a try, otherwise simply soaking your food in garlic juice before feeding might work too. SRC Member Qxnviolet Posted May 15, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted May 15, 2006 Qxnviolet bro, I've seen green grape algae, but not red type...can tell me where to purchase them? Erm, im not sure if they are really called red grape algae. They are exactly the same colour as the red bamboo algae. looks totally different from the green ones. The red "grapes" are pretty small. Will try and find a pic and let you see. Reborn normally have them... Quote My Newbie Tank Thread My Blog All pics taken with CanoN!~
