Achilles Tang
The work involved at Aquarama 03 during the weekends are as follows: Morning shift (opening hours) - open up shop. Tidy the place. Prepare for opening. Morning till evening - man the booth, give out flyers, talk to the public to promote the hobby and SRC, give out advice to other hobbyists (only established, experienced & senior reefers should do this, not newbies), keep the booth tidy, make sure the PCs are running etc). Closing shift - at closing time to tidy up the place, throw rubbish away, pack up the place. For final day (Sunday's closing shift) - assist in teardown. Basically the removal of everything back into transport. Return PCs and other equipment back to respective owners on Monday. There will be appointed personnel in charge of the cashbox and T-shirt stocks.

Achilles Tang
No complimentary lots. Exhibitors can pay $200 bucks for season ticket the whole duration. It's a major expense.

Achilles Tang
Event Timing (open to public) 1 November (Saturday) (1.00pm-8.00pm) 2 November (Sunday) (10.00am-7.00pm) 1 November (Saturday) Opening shift: 12.15pm (exhibitors - AT, Morgan, Phang) 1st shift: 1pm to 2pm (opening) 2nd shift: 2pm to 3pm 3rd shift: 3pm to 4pm 4th shift: 5pm to 6pm 5th shift: 6pm to 7pm 6th shift: 7pm to 8pm (closing) Closing shift: till 8.35pm (exhibitors - AT, Morgan, Phang) 2 November (Sunday) Opening shift: 9.15am (exhibitors - AT, Morgan, Phang) 1st shift: 10am to 12pm (opening) 2nd shift: 12pm to 1pm 3rd shift: 1pm to 2pm 4th shift: 2pm to 4pm 5th shift: 4pm to 5pm 6th shift: 5pm to 6pm 7th shift: 6pm to 7pm (closing) Teardown shift: till 8.45pm (exhibitors - AT, Morgan, Phang) This is the tentative scheduling for volunteers. They are on hourly shifts so hopefully, with more people helping out.. the load will be much much lesser on individuals. However, Exhibitors like myself, Phang and Morgan will working the whole 2 Trade-only days as well as coming early/staying later for the setup/teardown/opening/closing shifts as the public cannot stay and help. Hopefully, we can have SRC members who can help out for at least half-day shifts so we can take breaks from running the show. I will also be attending some trade only activities and preparing for the public seminar on Sunday. I hope it won't be a stressful time but let's do this together for the Club's sake. It's a good time to meet up with fellow hobbyists too!
