Worms for DSB

Was walking at pasir ris beach just now and saw a guy digging the beach sand for worms to be use for fishing. He call it sea worm. Had a feel of it and the worms does not sting my fingers. Seems harmless. Just wondering can I put them into my 4" DSB to help in turning over the sand bed?

I am afraid that they might contain toxins since the beach does not look so clean, so took some and put them in a small tank with powerhead filtering through poly filters.

Any comments on whether I should put them later into main tank?

Cheers.

I would NOT recommend you put them into your tank unless you have checked out what it is and done some research on it. Btw those bait worms usually do not last long in home aquaria.

But if you tame me, we shall need each other.
