jervis.. wun the maintenance be a chore when the ATI powermodul is covering ur entire tank? There's like no working space. . . especially when u need to place in new corals or take out dead ones...

Will it cause inconvenience??? Doesn't the ATI powermodul comes with quick release devices for easy adjustment?

Yes the ATI quick release device is so easy to use... I can slide the Powermodul up-down (even tilting angle) within seconds

Nope... not a chore at all That little device is brilliantly design... tiny but powerful... made of Stainless Steel I suppose

Now too late. lights already off. Will post 1 pic tomorrow when the lights come on. But I only have 2 ATI blue tubes running. The other 2 tubes are of unknown brand, 1 white and 1 blue on loan to me by AM til my ATI Blue Pro tubes come in.

As far as i know, my small little sps frag seems to be enjoying the new lights. The small polyps opening up nicely.. but still brown... hopefully will have it colour up soon.. the mother colony was purple...

Something i noticed however was that there were stray current running thru the whole metal casing.. Got a slight electric shock when I touched it. Had to diy a grounding wire to earth the stray current. Think thats due to the german plug that comes with no earth connection..

Emm... I have no problem with it... well I glide the Powermodul up and down almost every other day... well... a ground probe is not a bad thing to have... I am also looking at getting a ground probe for my tank... coz that will give me even more reliable and stable readings from my Aquatronica

Just came back from AM... ATI tubes just arrived Bought 2 tubes... Actnic Blue... and a new tube developed by ATI (manufactured by Osram)... SUPERWHITE!!!

SUPERWHITE is 8500ºK... slightly warmer in hue (more towards the red/orange/yellow) as the Aquablue Spezial is 11000ºK. Will replace 1 of my 4 Aquablue Spezial with SUPERWHITE. Will do the tube swapping later tonight... will post again tomorrow... even if I can't see the difference... I'm sure my light-loving corals can

So fun... now my Powermodul contains 4 different types of ATI tubes:

1) Aquablue Spezial x 3

2) Blue Plus x 1

3) Actinic Blue x 1

4) Superwhite x 1

Left to right (left being closest to viewer):

Aquablue Spezial (AS) --> Blue Plus (BP) --> AS ---> AS ---> BP --> AS

The colouration is whitish blue with a touch of light pink

My corals look more natural this way... simulating colouration in shallow water... tank looks warmer... in oveall just look more natural

Damn... the Pasar Malam is gonna be flooded with 1-month old PowerModul as everybody is upgrading to Dimmable Powermodul

Huh? 15% increase? Damn I am planning to upgrade to 4ft 8 tubes dimmable version... haiz... probably gonna reach 4-figure now When will you get your dimmable PM?

Guys... just to update...

I've ordered a new ATI Powermodul for my new tank... 10 tubes x 54W (4ft) dimmable... will get it installed within a week... will update you guys further on that...

Curious how BRIGHT can 10 x 54W ATI tubes be... must be blindingly bright

Will test the Powermodul with some SPS next
