No, it is not enough light. The anemone has already bleached a lot. At best, it will just manage to survive and not grow much.

Your anemone is the bubble-tip, Entacmaea quadricolor ( if i remember right) and the coral is the Jewel/Flowerpot/Goniopora coral, Goniopora sp.

It tends to die suddenly after abt 6 mths in captivity. Do a search about it on Sgreefclub.

What is meant by 'bleached'? Does it mean healthy or unhealthy? What should i do ?

anemones have symbiotic organisms called zooxanthellae

that process light into food for the anemone.

thats the gist of it...

if there's not enough light and the anemone will expell the zoo...

causing it to lose colour(bleach) and eventually die.

same for your gonipora and most corals, they're photosynthetic.

your bubbletip anemone seems ok IMO,

but at most i'll say 2 weeks before it starts to deteriorate :(

i'd either upgrade your lights or give/sell them away

cos they will no last long under your specs..

i dun mean to burst your bubble dude..

but you might want to read up more....

what kind of light will then be suitable for a 2ft tank with anemone?

truthfully? i don't know.

i kept my anemone under 2 x 55W PL in about 1.5ft

of water and it bleached.

i fed it peeled prawns every other week though,

still surviving...almost 1 year liao

its now under 250w radium for a few weeks ...

still yet to regain its colour :(

Of all the species of corals & anemone, u have to get the two toughest to keep....

Good luck... u probably want to improve your lighting to up their survival rate. Not sure about the anemone though looking at its condition.
