SRC Member Chris Posted October 13, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted October 13, 2003 Cleaner shrimps are totally safe. Banded shrimps are reef safe but will fight with each other. Harlequine is safe to all except starfish, which it eats. Also, Harl shrimps are most expensive. Quote I think (marine) therefore I am

SRC Member Chris Posted October 13, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted October 13, 2003 No problem with the first two but for Harlequine, can you get live starfish for it to eat? If no, it will die. Quote I think (marine) therefore I am

proms
banded shrimp will attack other shrimps leh.. they are territorial.. CB not that bad lar....if the tank is large enough and sufficient LRs for hiding place, the other shrimps will either hide or run away from CB. But absolutely no no for 2 CB in the same tank. SRC Member bum Posted October 14, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted October 14, 2003 But absolutely no no for 2 CB in the same tank. not really... i have 2 in mine.... possible if you have enough space, and its a male-female combi. my bigger female tore the claws off the resident male when i first put her in... in the following weeks...after the subsequent moults, she tore off less appendages but now they so lovey dovey. waiting to spawn
