this has gotta be the hardest decision in my reefing life.. my family isnt doing very well at the moment .. and ive decided to go FOWLR ( less considerations on light and flow ) coz i cant let go of all this so soon.. but total decom might be a possiblity.. will be selling my corals on pasar malam.. feel free to browse my thread and pm me if u are interested in any of the corals.. after such a long journey and reaching a small level of success... cant help but feel "she bu de".. ... now cannot thick skin post here ready.. nothing to show anymore..

hey bro, wat happen ? :o Hope ur family woes can be solved soon and that u are able to bounce back to reefing soon. :)

By keeping a fowler tank, there's still hope to keep LPS in ur tank again, jus need to pray and be strong

Hello reefers! I'm looking to make a comeback after 14 years.

Any recommendations on where to get tanks? I'm looking towards a 60cm cube size.

Check out the Red sea reefer 170! i just got one recently and i absolutely love the quality and design..

I got it 2nd hand from a reefer, There's a couple online store like ReefMarketSG that carries them, or you can purchase them directly from Qianhu who is the distributor for red sea. I believe a brand new RSR 170 is about 1.2k.

Hi friends,

So I'm back into the hobby after 14 years!

These pictures are backdated so bear with me.

Bought a 2ft cube with sump off Carousell. The total water volume is about 74~75 gallons.

Day 1 with live sand existing in the tank from the previous owner, plus new Carribsea Life Rock to cycle.

This was the initial scape but I wasn't happy and subsequently added another arch to the right tower.PSX_20200819_172300.jpeg
