not sure if the tube is too long. i measured.

it's 16inch.

16" too long... my fixture is 16" in length... the PL tube is around 12" only ;)

Here's a weeks worth... perhaps I should introduce 1 or 2 more small fish this weekend... the wastes generated by my LS are way too low to really see the performance of the skimmer :P

Removed the front inlet comb plastic to avoid blocking the light too much... this Nano Reefpack is very water level dependent (just like its predecessor Reefpack 500)... if the water level is to drop below the inlet opening, the pump will run semi-dry, causing a loud noise and dispersing lots of air bubbles into the main display :pinch:

before i got a wrasse, worms and nudis are the biggest problems and worries to me :huh: after getting a yellow wrasse, a green wrasse, a leopard wrasse and a twinspot wrasse, all my worries disappear liao :lol:

Quickly took the opportunity to feed the corals with both Roti-Feast and Phytoplankton :lol: So funny... not used to adding just 2 to 3 drops (usually by teaspoon for main tank) :lol:
