Hmm not sure how to start my thread and not sure if I can update it often even... as a student.. i do really have the luxury and time and definitely money to go LFS for sprees often.. so pardon me ya?

As a start... i think i started this hobby with a smaller 3ft IOS tank near Dec 2005... at that point of time I was still in the army.. and had advices from another reefer here whom happens to be my poly-classmate.. he kinda helped a lot and advised mi to read up.. (but turns out that reading is never enuff).. thanks Anthony haha..

Then I bought over a 3ft tank.. and begins the nitemare... byebye fishes byebye $... meeting new and nice ppl (flamey, Reefz, sky107line, KennethK, fishtalk, Jervis etc) and being aware of some "shady ppl" (i so 'heng' encountered like 3 of them) and gaining some knowledge about marine life... etc etc and my tank went sayonara for eternity nearly once.. when I went into uni.. and was juggling between slping time and academic time... aniwaez... :off:

Ok.. My tank is a 3ft by 2.8ft by 2.8ft... with a 3ft sump and 3 compartments..

Its skimming off insump H&S2001 and mangroves now... chilled by a PacCoo 1/2HP controlled by a tunze temp control. Circulating the tank are 2x Seio820.. running 2x39watt blue T5 HO and a 150w 14K MH...

Parameters of current:

no3: 10ppm<

temp: kept below 27.5dc

kh:8-9

po4: lazy to buy testkit.... haa...

Hi soupy soup  ,

nice tank with great scaping I would say... Thsoe blastos are wat bro storm tropper says, " Simple it is u might say but to me its worth a mountain top." Ya, given time when feeding, they will bloom out to be bui bui and soon baby would be found by the side of the rock. Bought a piece of blasto a few months ago, found tat abt 5-7 small heads blooming out.. U can achieved tat too..

And ya, I see sand bed area potential for pratas and many more corals to add ... keep it up bro
