SRC Member thc Posted November 12, 2007 SRC Member Share Posted November 12, 2007 Hi, Steps that i ll carry out to find out the source of current leak..... 1. Get a test pen if you do not have 1.... 2. Unplug 1 equipment at a time than test the water with the test pen... 3. Carry on until you find the source of current leak. the test pen should light up if it detects current.. cheers

tomowilson
when you test the water with the multimeter, what's the current reading? I have a small reading of microAmps, but cannot find the source of leak.

acontia
if u ground it to your plug's earth...it will trip your ELCB or MCB. get rid of the pump or equipment, don't waste your time trying to repair (provided u have the knowledge and materials) cuz not worth the time and danger of killing yourself and your love one. usally it's the China products that have this problem, although the German stuff sometimes have it too but rarely...
