hi i think it is a good chiller and for the price to pay $380 is relatively cheap awesome!!! too bad i already got Artica chiller or else this price i sure grab...

i am also using teco ra680.. it a good chiller...so far so good no problems.

bt heard from some reefers that the older version of TECO RA680 is better

it the new version of RA680 which is giving problem.

so is this the old version? the hose connection that faces the front? is it possible to turn it around. usually the tube connection hides behind the chiller right?

can I throw my two cents in, I have the same chiller and it's been in the shop three time in 18 months... the chiller was given to me by my bro-inlaw, when its running it's spot on but it's rather a pig on power... from the looks it's more then three years old, henes... 100-200 is the value.

yes bro...these model is quite sometime ago...imagine when i start reefing...pple are still using....

yes, I've been reefing longer than you've benn around... just saying that the chiller is an older verion and you'll have to monitor it alll the time...
