Water from Crystal Pro

Recently just got myself a crystal pro unit. Can I ask fellow users if the water can be used immediately and directly to top up the tank or do I still need to leave it overnite for chlorine to evaporate off?

Thats the purpose of the di filter unit. You can use it straight.

Pardon my ignorance. I think i read somewhere that it will be good to keep the water for a day before using. Nevertheless, from the forum, think lots of ppl are using it immediately and saw some shops also did the same..........

a link on, why DI or distilled water should be done so, would be great..

Hi, what i did was to leave the water overnight to aerate so that ph is reached. then add buffer (so that the content are properly binded when mixing salt) before adding salt mix... BTW this is for water change not topup..

Why do you need to leave the water to stand for the pH to change? Think the pH is dependent on the salt mix.
