Exuma goby looks like the yellow/neon goby, possible to get a wrong ID and be accidentally shipped as a neon goby?

The probability of that happening is zero. Because exuma goby is v rare and hard to find in the wild. Also unlike neon goby which rest on corals does not occur in big schools, exuma goby is a hovering type goby in schools so it is not easy to be confused.

Furthermore the atlantic collectors know their stuff and they know and ID their fishes well unlike like our philippines and bali collectors.

Sadly there are not many rare blenny u can find in our market.

Common ones: Ecsenius stigmatura, E.midas, E.bicolor.

Less common ones: E.bimaculatus, E. nalolo/yaeyamaensis.

The non ecsenius species that we can find now includes: malacoctenus triangulatus and enchelyurus flavipes at CF and numerous salarias species found at ML and other LFS.

Although sailfin jawfish is rare, one LFS in Japan brought in quite a lot of them, there are more which are in betta boxes and i wont post the pics. No wonder other parts of the world are not getting this fish!
