Hi Bro, getting a small or big one, heat will be generated. If the ventilation is poor, it will affect the lifespan of the chiller. Breaking down of chiller can always get a replacement but if it crashes yr tank, you will be sad. Maybe you can create fans within your cabinet to cool the chiller. With this, you may need external controller to control both device. Just my limited knowledge and advice. Hope experienced reefer can provide you more solution. : )

Hi all,

I am planning to get a chiller for my 350Lts tank but the problem is that I can only place it in a cabinet.

Will there be a major problem(eg. heat issue)?

If I get a bigger capacity one, will it help?

Thanks!

CHeers!

Bigger capacity will help to shorten the running time of the chiller but also generate more heat. at a short time and more electricity :whistle:whistle
