previously it will dash to hide when it sense any minor movement

its still shy currently, but a lot lot better

i think training their guts is the key to success, feeding will come naturally

of course, you need a healthy specimen to start with

cheers

  • Senior Reefer

this is it.

a successful attempt at keeping golden angel.

this proves that it is not difficult given the correct environment.

given time, your golden angel will be less shy and you can even keep it in a reef tank.

congratulations man. you took our advice, listened and it paid of ;) good job!

a true success.

you listened to our advice on a peaceful setting, and the black clowns as dither fish! again, GOOD JOB! FANTASTIC.

wish you more luck in your angel and hope it lives for many years to come ;)

many people don't fail at keeping this fish. they fail at listening to advice. you proved it.

there's no angelfish that is difficult. there are only angelfishes that are difficult to adapt. - john copps.

very wise words.

  • 4 years later...

Sorry for the thread necromancy! I am really interested to know how people keep such dense aquariums, can anyone with these tanks explain how to manage aggression/ adding new fish, also what is the filtration/ water change technique, do Singaporeans use skimmers for much higher tank sizes? Also what so you feed the angels and butterfly's to keep them in such good condition!

Very interested to know because in Australia, people just keep recommending giant tanks!
